Bastardo opens with an Orange note mostly from the natural orange essential oil, which is fresh and juicy, complemented with a dash of other aromatic materials to provide a woody and waxy nuance.

A selection of spices and woods in small amounts enhace the characteristic scent of the Bay Leaf, the main spice component of this fragrance. Bay St. Thomas leaf essential oil, also known as West Indian Bay oil, is renowned for its warm, spicy and aromatic profile. A rich, herbaceous scent, with hints of clove, cinnamon, and eucalyptus.

Ever present is the sweet sugary Rum accord with a tobacco/woody facet to it.

Then a dash of Vanilla to balance the spicy notes with a warm, comforting undertone, and the ageless Patchouli essential oil to bring some earthiness depth to the scent profile, enhancing the richness of the bay leaf and complementing the rum and orange notes.

With a concise choice of natural and synthetic raw materials, we have captured the harmony of the traditional Bay Rum scent, while also making it more captivating and enduring.

The Nourishing Splash

The brand new Nourishing Splash was developed primarily to better serve our loyal customers abroad. The gentlemen who prefer a splash over a balm and who unfortunately did not have access to our alcohol-based lotion. It is also suitable for anyone who cares about the well-being of their skin and at the same time wants a flawless olfactory experience.

It has been carefully designed to provide an incredible post-shave experience, without the stickiness that is often characteristic of non-alcoholic splashes. This formula includes many of the same principles and benefits as the Invigorating Splash. Due to its known astringent properties, witch hazel takes a prominent role. It also contains all other essential ingredients such as aloe, glycerin, betaine, sodium lactate, silk, rose water and chamomile water, as well as the added vegetable collagen and panthenol, better known as provitamin B5, for a truly nourishing experience.

Recommended Use

When you are finished shaving, wash your face thoroughly with cold water to ensure loose hairs and excess lather are removed.

Shake the bottle well and open it. Pour a teaspoon amount of aftershave into one palm and pat it over to the other. Gently apply the aftershave to recently shaved areas of the face, neck or body. Avoid contact with eyes and other mucous membranes.

Massage the product in a downward motion, making sure you get an even coverage. Do not rinse with water, your skin will soon absorb the product and do its work.
